Gary is back at the club with whom he made his first team debut more than two decades ago, having re-joined from Bognor Regis Town in the summer. A product of the Hornets’ youth set-up, he broke into the senior side in November 1998 and went on to become the club’s second highest appearance holder with close on 600 games under his belt for his hometown side. Joined Walton & Hersham at the start of the 2005/06 season but returned to Horsham and helped them to promotion to the Isthmian Premier Division and Sussex Senior Cup Final that same season. He was a member of the Hornets side that reached the 2nd round of the FA Cup in 2007 but spent 10 months out of the game after suffering a fractured cheekbone in 2009. Played Conference South football for Eastbourne Borough in 2011/12 but returned to Horsham a year later, and was subsequently appointed player-manager in November 2013. Left that role in January 2015 and went on to enjoy a further spell at Eastbourne Borough, sandwiched between two spells at Bognor Regis Town, but suffered a bad injury in the early part of 2019 that ruled him out for the remainder of the season. Has also played for Lewes.
