Hornets 12th Player Fund
Strengthening the Squad. Together.
Horsham’s rise has been built on hard work, smart planning and the support of a community that refuses to stand still. But at this level of football, every season brings new challenges – injuries, fixture congestion, and the constant need for depth and competition within the squad.
We are fan owned and don’t have a wealthy backer underwriting the budget. We rely on sustainable growth, good decisions, and the commitment of people who care about the direction of the club. The Hornets 12th Player Fund is a simple way for supporters to play a direct role in strengthening the Club throughout the season. Helping across the Men’s, Women’s and Youth sections of the club.
The Hornets 12th Player Fund is about ensuring that when the manager needs options – cover for injuries, reinforcement during a hectic run of fixtures, or that extra bit of quality to push us forward – and ensure the club isn’t held back by the limits of a stretched, responsible budget.
This is football the Horsham way: transparent, grounded, and built together.
How to Support the Fund
Supporters can contribute in two ways, depending on what works best for them.
| Monthly Direct Debit | One-Off Contribution |
| A recurring contribution helps the club plan ahead with confidence. | Prefer to help as and when you can? |
| You can choose to give: | You can make a one-off donation of:
· £10 · £25 · £50 · £100 · £250 |
| Every amount helps. A steady base of monthly support gives the management team the flexibility to act when it matters most. | These contributions are invaluable during transfer windows, busy fixture periods and times when the squad needs an immediate boost. |
Where Your Support Goes
Every penny raised goes directly towards the playing budget.
Specifically:
- Squad depth
- Cover during injury spells
- Additional competition for places
- Short-term signings during intense fixtures
- Strengthening at key moments in the season
Nothing is wasted. Nothing is diverted. It all goes to helping Horsham stay competitive across the different leagues, and particularly in one of the toughest divisions in non-league football.
A Thank You to Supporters
To recognise those who go above and beyond, anyone who donates £50 or more (either as a one-off or cumulative monthly total) will be entered into regular draws for two places in the 1881 Lounge for a match of their choice.
We’ll repeat this through the season with different matches.
There is also the option to have your name listed on a simple “12th Player Wall” on the website and in the clubhouse.
Why This Matters
Horsham FC is a club built on its people. Our success – on and off the pitch – has never been down to one person, or one chequebook. It’s been collective, steady, and honest.
The Hornets 12th Player Fund is an opportunity for supporters who want to play a part in that journey: a way to contribute directly to the football they love, in a way that is transparent, sustainable and true to the values of this club.
If you can support, thank you.
If you can’t, you’re no less part of the club – the noise, the colour and the spirit you bring every week is just as important.
