We may not be able to offer you senior football for the time being but supporters can still get their Horsham FC ‘fix’ this weekend with The Camping World Community Stadium set to host four youth team matches tomorrow.

With the Isthmian League programme put on extended hold, the Arun & Chichester Youth Football League is your go to place for Hornets football with our U11s, U12s, U13s and U14s providing the entertainment with matches against sides from Chichester and Worthing.

Getting things underway at 10am are our U12s, who have waited six weeks to react to their first defeat of the season when they host Chichester City Whites on the Jack Scrase Community Pitch. Beaten 2-1 by leaders Felpham Colts last time out, another tough test is in store for Barry Ashton’s squad as they face the side in second place but with the incentive of knowing a victory would lift them above their opponents in the Division A table.

Over on the main pitch,ย the U13s will look to pick up where they left off a month ago and make it six wins from six when they host Worthing Dynamos, a side they scored eleven goals against back in October.

Following them, at midday, the U11s Coral Cup winners face only their second Development League match of the season when they host Chichester City Colts while, on the main pitch, Matt Ayling will hope his return to the sidelines can inspire his U14s to victory over Whyke United. The manager missed the Hornets’ previous two matches through illness, the first of which was the reverse meeting with Whyke in which the side suffered their first defeat of the season.

Admission to the ground is FREE, with ‘Kiosk Kev’ on duty to provide teas, coffees, bacon rolls and chips! Supporters are reminded that social distancing measures will be in place, with temperature readings and track and trace measures implemented upon entry. Whilst in the ground, you are asked to remain in your ‘bubbles’ of no more than six persons.

Away from the Hop Oast, our U17s Mid-Sussex League side take their 100% record to Withdean, who are without a league victory since the opening day of the season.
