Horsham’s hopes of a play-off place finish were boosted thanks to a 2-0 win over struggling Cheshunt, as Lee Harding’s man-of-the-match display helped his side on the way to another welcomed three points.

Harding’s goal on 27 minutes put Horsham in control, and The Hornets were helped by the dismissal of Amadou Kasaratte towards the end of the first half for picking up too silly yellow cards.

Harding then turned provider early on in the second half, when he crossed in for Jack Brivio to tap in from close range and while Horsham had chances to grab a third, they didn’t need it as they managed the remainder of the game out comfortably.
