Dom Di Paola insists the ‘pressure is massively off’ when we take on a Cheshunt side who are ‘much improved’, according to the boss, this weekend.

The Ambers currently sit in 18th but boast a decent record in their trips to Sussex, thrashing Lewes 6-1 in the league and beating leaders Worthing 3-1 in the Velocity Trophy in their most recent visits to the county.

Boasting former Hornet Zack Newton in their ranks, Cheshunt were beaten by ourselves in the reverse fixture back in September when an Ibrahim Diallo own-goal helped us claim a narrow victory.

Dom said: “Their front three is a top ten front three. They’ve got Ryan Moss who’s been a goalscorer at this level for a long time and Zack was a great lad, a great player.

“They’ve massively improved from when we played them up there but we’re looking forward to playing at the moment.

“The pressure’s massively off now we’ve got to the points total that we wanted. Now it’s the case of just enjoying the remaining fixtures.

“It’s going to be a real push but at least we’ve got something to play for. If we can get to the end of this month in roughly the same position, with eight weeks of the season to go then we’ve done amazing.”

Dom also feels team morale has never been higher. He said: “This group that we’ve got now, get on really well. They just look forward to playing together so we just enjoy the individual games.”

Our thanks go to tomorrow’s match sponsors, Ben and Richard Williams, we hope you’ll enjoy the game! Thanks for your tremendous support!

Prior to the main event, we’ll be showing the big Premier League clash between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur (k/o 12.30pm) LIVE while supporters can also stick around after tomorrow’s match to see on Man City take on Leicester.

As usual, those unable to make it, can keep updated through our Twitter coverage on @HorshamFC, however, with a dry weather forecast predicted, make the most of it by coming out and supporting the Hornets!
