Horsham kept up their play-off promotion hopes with a 2-0 win against Haringey Borough.
Having slipped out of the top five in recent weeks, this was a much welcomed victory for Dom Di Poala’s side who have failed to win in their previous four matches. The Hornets were on their way thanks to Lee Harding’s opportunistic strike after he hit home following visiting goalkeeper Jonathan Miles’ fumble out, and after missing several good chances, Horsham secured the win in the second half when Greg Cundle finished emphatically from Jack Brivio’s cut back.
The Yellows were awarded a penalty on the stroke of injury time, but once again, Horsham’s luck from the spot came back to haunt them as Rob O’Toole saw his effort well saved by Miles, who dived the right way to push away.
Dylan Merchant then headed against the crossbar as Horsham earn only their third win of 2020.
