It was another cracking day for Horsham Youth today, both at the CWCS and on the road, with a cup final appearance secured and others strengthening their positions in the league.

U15 Amber kicked off proceedings at the Stadium with an excellent Mid-Sussex League Cup quarter final win against East Grinstead. After the disappointment of last weekend’s Sussex County Cup exit at the hands of the same opponents, the lads regrouped over the week and the hard work paid off with a 3-0 win that sets up a home semi-final tie against Haywards Heath Town on January 26th.

Our U14s were also in cup action and were on fire against Crawley Down GatwickΒ  in the semi-final of the Arun & Chichester League Cup, booking their place in the final by scoring seven goals without reply. Congratulations to Alex, Lee, and the whole squad.

On the road the lads were in fine form, with U15 Green keeping their 100% league record intact with a great win at Worthing Dynamos, running out 9-2 winners to open up a 12 point lead at the top of the Arun & Chichester League Division B table. The U12s were also at Worthing Dynamos and made it a Horsham ‘double’ by putting three past their hosts with only one in reply to come home with a tasty three points from their first outing of 2020. Maintaining our presence in the coastal town, U13 took on Worthing Town and returned home with a share of the spoils from a 1-1 draw in their Arun & Chichester League Division A clash.Β

Completing our round-up are our U11s, who made it two wins from two in 2020 with victory at Selsey in their Development League match.
