Horsham’s U23 squad are in action tonight when they host Three Bridges in their latest Bluefin Development League match.

The match is the reverse of the fixture played at the Jubilee Field back in early September in which the two sides fought out an exciting contest that went the way of the Hornets, Lee Harding and Archie Goddard scoring two goals apiece in a 4-3 win. Since then we have gone on to record 4 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats to currently sit in a very respectable 4th position. In contrast, our visitors have struggled and occupy bottom spot in the South Division table with just a solitary victory against Ramsgate at home and a draw away at Faversham to show for their 9 games played.

An easy match? No, I donโ€™t think so. A look at the stats shows that Bridges can score goals, with 18 to their credit, but have leaked 32 goals at the other end. So the message manager Mark Hawthorne will, no doubt, be giving to his team will be not to underestimate their opponents, keep it tight at the back, and take your chances when they come.

If the match is as entertaining as the first encounter, supporters will be in for a treat. So if you can get down to the Camping World Community Stadium and give your support to the boys, I think we can promise some goals!
