On Saturday 14th December we will marking the festive season, and celebrating a quite remarkable 2019, with a ‘Christmas Bonanza’ at The Camping World Community Stadium.

Kicking off at 1.45pm, we will be hosting a children’s party in which all youngsters will receive a gift from Howie the Hornet, have the opportunity to create Christmas tree decorations and have a dance at our junior disco.

The main event takes place at 3pm when we take on East Thurrock United in an Isthmian League Premier Division fixture, after which all supporters are invited to join us in the clubhouse for ‘Christmas nibbles’ and music, mingle with the players, management and committee, or watch all the Premier League action from Southampton v West Ham United on the big screen.

We will also be taking donations from supporters of non-perishable food stuffs on behalf of the Trussell Trust, for which we would ask you to give generously at what can be a tough time for many local families.

Donation ideas can include, but are not limited to:

  • Tinned meat/fish
  • Tinned fruit
  • Tinned puddings
  • UHT/powdered milk
  • Pasta sauces
  • Instant coffee
  • Long-life fruit juice

We would also like to thank Sainsburys and Tesco who will be providing Howie with presents to give out to everyone at the pre-kick off children’s party.

See you there!
