Haringey Borough put Horsham to the sword as they dumped The Hornets out of the FA Trophy at the first hurdle as Dom Di Paola’s side lost 3-0 in North London.
Borough, who last weekend had walked off during their FA Cup game against Yeovil Town following alleged racist abuse raced into a 2-0 lead at half time when goals from Michael Ademiluyu put the hosts in front before Chidubem Onokwai doubled their advantage on the stroke of half time.
It got worse for Horsham who conceded a third goal ten minutes into the second half when Jorge Djassi Sambu finished smartly, as Horsham put in a disappointing performance.
The Hornets lost both Rob O’Toole and Gary Charman to injury while late on, Charlie Harris had his penalty saved by Valery Pajetat.
