Youth cup football comes to The Camping World Community Stadium tomorrow, with two of our sides hoping to reach the last four of their respective competitions.

Kicking things off are the U13s, who entertain Ferring Brazilian Masters for the second weekend running. The two sides shared the points with a 2-2 draw in the league last Sunday but a result will be guaranteed in tomorrow’s Arun & Chichester League Cup tie, with the victors progressing through to a semi-final pairing with either Chichester City or Midhurst & Easebourne.

That’s followed by an U12s clash between Horsham and Worthing Dynamos Red. Just as with Horsham and Ferring, these two clubs are also league rivals and are set to face each other again in seven days’ time so will be keen to claim an early psychological advantage by coming out on top tomorrow. The Hornets currently occupy second place in the table, suggesting that they should be favourites to succeed, but Worthing have won two of their three league outings so far and put seven goals past AFC Vardenians in the County Cup.

Our U14s move six points clear at the top of Mid-Sussex League Division A without even playing, after tomorrow’s opponents Perrywood Sports Hurricanes withdrew from the fixture having being unable to raise a side. In place of the league match, the Hornets will host Oakwood in a friendly on the main pitch.

Away from the CWCS, our newly-crowned U11 Autumn Cup winners play only their second Arun & Chichester Development League fixture of the season when they take their 100% record down to Bognor Regis Town (1pm) and our two U15 sides are also on the road, Greens – the Arun & Chichester League leaders – go to mid-table East Preston (midday) with Amber aiming to make it 5 league wins from 5 away to Rottingdean Village (10am). Completing the set, Dixie Laker’s U16s venture to Seaford for a Mid-Sussex League Cup 1st round tie with Premier United (10am).
