Horsham suffered only their second league defeat of the season on Saturday when they went down to a 2-0 loss at lowly Bishop’s Stortford. The Hornets, for whom Charlie Harris and Kieron Pamment were both denied by the woodwork with the score goalless, went behind to a debut goal from former Margate striker Jordan Chiedozie on 73 minutes and second half substitute William Mycroft-Edwards doubled the home side’s lead five minutes from time. The result sees the Hornets slip from first to third place in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
