Horsham produced another solid home performance against a very physical Lancing FC.

It took some time for the home team to settle in to the game as they struggled to maintain possession and continued to give the ball away far too easily for the liking of Manager Barry Ashton.

Horsham took the lead after fifteen minutes with a very calm finish from Zac Langford and from this point on, Horsham never looked back. Harry Duvergier doubled the lead with a very scrappy goal to ensure Horsham finished the first half with two goal lead.

Horsham grew in confidence and were in complete control for large parts of the second half and were very rarely threatened. Horsham went on to score four more thanks to goals from Sammy Painter, Jack York and two superb finishes by Sam Abrehart.
