Well, a week off league duty today saw Horsham Green U15s head to a League Cup game against Angmering Village Youth. We started off slowly and quickly went one nil down but the lads responded quickly and started to play, picking out passes, and were awarded a penalty that was scored at the second attempt to level the scores. We were able to reap our rewards for our hard work with a second goal, just before half-time.

Then the rain came lashing down but this did not cause a problem for the lads, who picked up from where they left off and scored a third. Angmering came back at us and got a second to make things interesting (we do make things difficult for ourselves at times!) but we started to put the pressure back on them and put the game to bed with our fourth goal.

A huge well done to all the boys as they all played well.

Goalscorers: Harrison Hay (2), Sam McMinn, Max Fitzsimmons

Man of the Match: Tate Stowell
