Conner Collcutt struck six times as Horsham Amber continued their strong start to the campaign by brushing aside local rivals Broadbridge Heath on Wednesday evening. Zain Beg was a constant threat and opened the scoring, heading home a pinpoint cross from Joe Simpkin. The home side rallied and threatened an equaliser before Collcutt capitalised on a defensive error to slot home, doubling his personal tally in emphatic style before the break. He made it 4-0 within seconds of the re-start, killing off Heath’s slim hopes of a comeback. However, the final score of 12-0 doesn’t reflect the spirit that the home team showed for long periods. Isaac Small, Alfie Clifford, Henry Hazell, Nico Massimo and Max Warren – whose electrifying pace led to countless opportunities – were all on the scoresheet.
