A reminder to all our supporters that stars of Horsham’s past will be doing battle at The Camping World Community Stadium this afternoon in memory of our late president, Frank King.

Frank, who passed away in May, was a great supporter of Diabetes UK and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and we are delighted that members of the Hornets’ squad that reached the 2nd round of the FA Cup in 2007, along with those who won the Sussex County League in 2016 (as well as a couple of ‘guest’ appearances), have agreed to take part in a fundraiser for these two worthy charities. Admission is FREE, with a bucket collection taken during the game.

The clubhouse and bar open at midday today with kick-off at 2pm, prior to which will see the official dedication of the new boardroom in Frank’s name.

Please come along and support your local football club for what promises to be a highly entertaining afternoon.

My legends were Mick Browning, Wilf Hugill, Don Cocoza, ‘Doughy’ Baker- I could go on – I hope some of them are still around to see where we are now.
