Charlie Harris has now had a scan on his injury sustained in the Ramsgate game. He has a tear in his MCL which will need R&R and he also needs an operation to repair a damaged cartilage. The waiting time for this on the NHS is likely to be up to six months which would mean that, with recovery, it could well be nine months before he is fit again. The alternative is for the operation to be done privately, which could be arranged within a week or so and would give Charlie a good chance of returning for pre-season training. He has indicated he wishes to stay with the club next season.

As you can imagine, private healthcare is expensive. We are therefore launching a collection to help Charlie meet the cost. There will be a bucket collection at Saturday’s match against Three Bridges to which supporters are invited to contribute. Alternatively donations can be sent by bank transfer to Lloyds Bank, Sort Code 30-94-41, Account No. 02763492.

Thank you for your support.
