Our successful U15s took the applause of a bumper Goring’s Mead crowd on Saturday as they were presented with the Arun & Chichester League Division C championship trophy during half-time of the Hornets’ Ryman League encounter with league leaders Tooting & Mitcham. The lads, looking smart in their Horsham Motors Services sponsored jackets, were congratulated and presented with their individual medals and the league trophy by Horsham Chairman Kevin Borrett.

Hoping to follow suit are U12 Amber, who showed few ill-effects of the early start brought about by the changing of the clocks by winning 8-2 away to Barnham Trojans. Joe Simpkin scored four and Sammy Henderson two, with Isaac Small and an own goal completing the rout to set the lads up nicely for this Sunday’s rearranged match against table-topping Worthing Town Red.

The U11s kept the winning factor going with a 3-0 win over Worthing Town Blue, where a great team performance was rewarded by goals from Jasper Butterfill, Jack Wills and an ‘og’.
