Worthing Town White U15s 0 Horsham 17
Arun & Chichester League
Date: 11-12-2016

On a cold and sunny afternoon, Horsham continued their 100% start to the season with another dominant display. Horsham were into their rhythm from the off and the scoring was opened after a probing pass put Jake Relleen through, who was then floored from a crunching challenge by the Worthing keeper. The Hornets were awarded a penalty which was efficiently despatched by Max Laker. Horsham continued to push and probe the Worthing defence with some quick incisive passing and ended the half 6-0 up. The prolific Kieran Bonner netting 4 and Connor Brown with the goal of the match, a long range shot that went in off of the post.

At the break the team were asked to up the intensity and they duly delivered. There was some wonderful link up play down the flanks by Cody Blastock, Harry Kent, Max Laker and Kieran Kirby which resulted in some lovely whipped in crosses for the forwards to attack. Centre-backs Josh Hall and Tom Searle looked very solid at the back and snuffed out any attacks that threatened, with keeper Jamie Boniface passing the ball intelligently to the Horsham full-backs. Ryan Atalay added some bite to the Horsham midfield and linked up well with the industrious Louis Hartley and the forward line. The Hornets play an attractive brand of possession football and they were relentless as wave after wave of attacks bombarded the Worthing goal resulting in another eleven goals.

The Hornets continue to improve and confidence is high in the camp. This team has the potential to go a long way!
