Hard on the heels of the disappointment of relegation from the Ryman League, the Hornets look to have been promoted even before a ball has been kicked, following news of a reshuffle at June’s AGM of the Sussex County League.

The 2015/16 season of the nwely-titled Macron Store Southern Combination Football League will see the top tier renamed Premier Division, with divisions Two and Three becoming One and Two respectively. The season is due to kick-off on Saturday 8th August, with fixtures expected to be announced in July. In addition to the Sussex Senior Cup, the club has entered the Sussex RUR Cup and the two national competitions that they are eligible for – the FA Cup and FA Vase – for which the early round draws will ne announced on the afternoon of Friday 3rd July.
